Collective Mark - These are the trademarks used by a group of companies and can be protected by the group collectively. For example TATA SONS. 5. Sound Mark- A sound mark is a trademark where a particular sound does the function of uniquely identifying the origin of a product or a service. For example the jingle of the ICICI bank. 6. 3-D Mark- In India definition of mark includes the shape of goods and therefore three dimensional or 3-Dimensional or 3D Marks can be registered under the provisions of Indian Trademark Act, 1999.
